I read about this cool tech tool, the Betty Tablet, in Ai-Jen Poo’s critically acclaimed new book, The Age of Dignity, http://thenewpress.com/books/age-of-dignity. It is an application for home elder caregivers to keep a daily log on a tablet that is instantly accessible to distant family members and health care professionals (read more in link below). I was really excited about this sort of option for my family and caregivers, but after reading the following article it’s not clear if there is a platform or format for non-agency caregivers. I wanted to know if it is possible to downloads to other devices. I tried to do a little searching for more info, but came up empty handed. Does anyone have any direct experience with this program? What do you think?
